The Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, has opened the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center with the objective of bringing the philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy to life and becoming a model for students in the university and farmers in nearby areas who are interested in learning to practice and as a learning resource for farmers in nearby areas to apply in their own contexts.

University of Phayao has developed an innovative community network for high-quality buffalo production, catering to both domestic and international trade.
The research project on the development of an innovative community network for high quality buffalo production for domestic and international trade aims to create an innovative community network, establishes model learning areas and community innovators capable of solving and managing their buffalo farming careers in the Phayao and Chiang Rai provinces. In terms of breeding, the use of estrus induction technology, artificial insemination technology, and online pedigree application has resulted in the production of high-quality buffalo calves. This has helped to reduce the issue of inbreeding and has also expanded the distribution channels for buffalo, with meat buffalo being sold at 30,000 - 50,000 baht per head and breeding buffalo at 50,000 - 100,000 baht per head.
In terms of food management, innovative methods have been implemented to grow high-quality animal feed plants, ensuring that buffaloes receive sufficient protein and nutrition for their bodies' needs. The use of agricultural waste as food has also helped to reduce food costs.
Bullfrog (Glyphoglossus molossus) Conservation Activities by School of Agriculture and Natural Resources in collaboration with Innovation and Technology Transfer Institute, University of Phayao
The Innovation and Technology Transfer Institute with School of Agriculture and Natural Resources has implemented the project "Technology and Innovation of Community Water Management for Economic and Social Enhancement for the New Normal life” under the Integrated Economic and Social Upgrade Program (1 Tambon 1 University).

Economic Aquaculture Career Promotion and Development Activities (Sub-Activities: Releasing Bullfrog guidelines for increasing natural protein food sources in the community). Dr. Sitthisak Pinmongkolkul is the project leader in fisheries, School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao. the bullfrog was released to Pong Sub-districts and Oi Sub-districts, Pong District (more than 64,000 released).

Rice planting activities during the rainy season

For the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, University of Phayao, under the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, covering an area of over 150 rai, it is a model organization that has adopted the New Theory Agriculture on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of His Majesty King Rama IX to be practiced in a tangible manner, along with opening up an area for technology transfer, training and study visits on plant varieties, agriculture, livestock, fisheries and product processing for students, personnel both inside and outside, including communities that are interested in coming to study and learn.
