University of Phayao through its Research Administration Division organized an activity under the theme
"University of Phayao and Its Role in Sustainable Development toward the 17 SDGs"
presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho President of University of Phayao at the Mueang Phayao Meeting Room Information and Communication Technology Building University of Phayao
The activity was designed to promote understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
among faculty researchers and staff and to strengthen University of Phayao capacity to translate
all 17 goals into concrete action
across its core missions of teaching research academic service and institutional management
The event aimed to build awareness and understanding of the SDGs create meaningful connections between sustainable development and University of Phayao education and research activities and reinforce the university role in supporting integrated teaching research and academic services for effective and sustainable development
University of Phayao has demonstrated strong commitment to the SDGs by actively integrating all 17 goals into teaching research academic service and institutional management working toward a sustainable future for the university the local community and society as a whole
University of Phayao is committed to driving the SDGs at the international level collaborating with partners to build a sustainable future University of Phayao actively participates in multi-stakeholder forums including the SDSN Thailand Public Forum contributing expertise on Education for Sustainable Development and fostering collaboration among government private sector and academic institutions to accelerate SDG implementation across Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region
